Hello :D
I've learned a lot about Hinduism with those videos. Generally, they were fantastic.
I like the third video, which was a conversation with an hindu person, because I think a good way to understand another religion is listening to a person who practices this religion and his experiences and customs. I also think is a good video because we learn about the humility and respect of hindu people.
With the last three videos I've learnt about some of their symbols, customs and music.
The video about Ghandi's oppinion was really interesting.
And the first one was really useful for understanding the traditions in Hinduism.
Well, now I'm going to answer one of the questions you told us to do:
- What does the first video say about the Ganges river? That people do an offering to the Mother, the Ganges river, and they pray for a better existence in this live and in the next live for a higher place.
And that's all.
See you :)

Hello!,
I like two videos, the first one, Ravi Shankar's music, It's amazing how he plays this instrument!, I was impresed because I play the guitar, and it's very complecated play an instrument really good, so he is a talented person; and the second, it's curios M. Ghandi's video, because it's more enjoyable watch a video with characters, and, also is more entertaining and you learn more. As well, I like the first video, It's really amazing how people pray while they are washing their bodies with Ganges's water river. One thing that really catches my attention is that they have a lot of gods, and people haven't got to believe in one, in my opinion I think is better, because you prevent discriminated to other people.

Now, I am going to answer a question that we would have to do:
How do people pray in Hinduism?
Hinduism people pray with a curios form, they sing songs to the gods and next they burning incense in front of the image or sculpture of their god

Hi:
I have learn a lot of new things about hinduism. The video that I like more its Ghandi´s opinion. I find very interesting the video that saws a conversation between a person and a hindu person. Also I find interesting that if you say "Namasté" you re saying that you respect God in him. Then I´m going to answer a question:
What are the most important five things he teach us( Ghandi)?
They are that hinduism is one of the oldiest religion in the world, it has a lot of festivals and celebrations, there are four clases of people, it has lots of Gods, and they respect the life of all the people.

I think that the most interesting video is the last in wich I have learned , if I meet a person from the hinduism, how to relate with him
What does it say about the river Ganges?
It says that the people of the hinduism purificate their souls with the water of the river

Hi people !!
I thing that most interesting video and wich i have learned more, it's the second one, because in my opinion is the onliest wich i understand more in english, and have learned, that is interested, that the hinduism people are vegetarians because they respet all the lives both animal and humans.
I also liked the last, is amazing the instruments so rare that they know how to play!!

Hi,
Later watch all videos I have learned a lot about hinduism.I think all of them are interesting and educative. In my opinion the most curious and easy video to understand this religion is in wich there is an interview between a hindu person and a journalist because in it you can learn things like, what is namasté and like, for an hindu is really important don't wear shoes when you are in a house.

The question which I choose is : What is Brahaman and what are the paths to form part of Him?
And the answer is :It's a spirit, the creator of the universe. The yoga, the meditation, the workship and the perfection are the paths to form part of it.

Hi,
all this videos have teach us a lot of important and cultural.
I liked too much the second one cause it is easy to learn a lot of cultural things about this religion.
When I saw the fifth video I surprised a little bit cause I didn´t know that Hindus pray like that.
I liked the music very much, I don´t know what is the instrument that plays Ravi Shankar, it´s very good.
I think the video of the aum is very interesant, I didn´t know that it "was created with the big bang"

Now I´m going to answer a question:
How do people pray in Hinduism?
-They pray singing some phrases to god, the five that are in the video are:
-Tvamera mata
-Brahmarpanam brahmahauih
-Asato ma sadgamaya
-Sarve bhavantu suKhinah
-Om saha navavatu

hello
I've found all the videos very interesting, but sometimes are a bit difficult to understand. The video which I think is the best is the second (where Ghandi explains us the hinduism with his words) because is funny and is eassier to understand the message. Now the question:
What does it say about the river Ganges?
People from hinduism call it mother river and they pray in it to get a better life in their reincarnation

Good evening to everybody,
After I see this videos, I know more about this fantastic religion called Hinduism. For me this religion is interesting; because having a lot of Gods they respet to the Gods in which other people belive; no like other religions. We can see this respect in the third video in which for example if you go to a house, you need to leave your shoes; because is the sacred place for the other person.
I also like the video of Gandhi, in which we can see that they are vegetarians; because they respect all the living beings. In the first video we can see the importance ritual in the river Ganges in which they purify them.
In the forth video we can learn that this symbol has been create in the Big Bang and it's pronounce "AUM".
In the fifth video we can see five hindu prayer. I choose the question for this video: How do people pray in Hinduism? In this video we watch that since they're praying they are singing and doing offers. The girls has they face painted.
The last video is so interesting because they are playing strange instruments.
Finally I think that it is a religion that we have to respect.
Godnight.

Hello,
The three videos I liked. I have taught a religion that did not know. in the first video I find it interesting to see how they wash while praying to purify their sins and offer their meals.
In the second video which is what I think is best understood Ghandi says you have to be respectful and tolerant of others, something that I find very important, and as they believe in reincarnation.
And finally, in the third video, which I think highlights of the interview is that Hinduism is based on humility and respect people

Hello Juan Antonio,
I saw the videos and also the opinion of my fellows, I don´t think that the videos are amazing or
hallucinatory because it is not something new,it is a religion, a wonderful religion wich has specific traditions and ideas of God. It is true, the videos are interesting, like the others ( of the Islam, Judaism...), because all the religions have good and bad or stange things too. Hinduism has no founder. They believe that bathing in the river Ganges they will purify. Hindus have altars in their homes!! Most Hindus are vegetarians, because they think that the animals have soul. Sincerely I prefer to be vegetarian than fasting the month of Ramadan. Because for example, I like ( a lot) to eat vegetables, I don´t have for the beakfasta milk with cereal,no, I prefer have breakfast tea and a toast. It is said that yoga have at least 35 centuries old! Before I forget I have to say that I LOVE YOGA, but no the yoga of meditation, but rather the physical part ( like "pilates").
I have a friend , he is from India. He told me that in a marriage the girl wears a red dress and there is a person who ask you if you ( the guest) want to draw a picture in your hands with a specail thing wich I don´t remember. But it's like a brown gel.For my part, I agree with Mr. Ghandi: does not matter the social class you belong, because everyone has the same chance of being part of God. Finally, I hope I have commented with a critic, democratic, tolerant form, which seeks to promote the dignity and happiness of the whole world, a coherent thought that criticizes every ideology, faith or behavior that acts against personal freedom and human rights.
BYE!

I'm going to answer this question: How do people pray in Hinduism? People pray singing a sentence, for example sarve bhavantu sukhinah that means healthy, prosperity...

Well, first I want to say that Hinduism is one of the religion that I most admire, just because I considerate it a pure religion, with really goods ideas, for example: it recognize positivily values like: humility, respect, respect to everyone, reject discrimination between people, and that's really good. For other hand I considerate that this videos are amazing because they teach us very important things for the life of a hindu. They teach us, that there are differt people with their own customs and traditions. And this is a great cultural wealth for everyone. Also this videos show us the importance to learn. Beacuse the fact of learning is wonderful. Other thing I like of Hinduism is that they show us how to over come the sterotipes, prejudices and appereances help us to become more free. And I appreciate it a lot, because i think the same as them, i hate the people how judge others for their appearance. This videos not only show us the hindu religion, this videos show us that they are humble and human. And finally I want to say that the last video (Ravi Shankar music) is really great, because I liked this sound and I agree with this is a treasure.

Hello!
I´ve seen all this videos and I think they´re fantastic just becouse I´ve learned many things about hinduism and they are also interesting.
My favourite video is the first one becouse I´ve learned many things about it:we can see some hindu people praying to one of the most important hindu´s places: The river Ganges, which is the godess mother and they give some offerings to it. They pray for a better existence in this life and in the next life, for a higher place in the caste or society, they also pray to get the Moksha or liberation from the suffering. In my opinion this has a relationship with the Karma. And we can see how this people get dress.
I also like the video that teaches us about the meaning of the word "Aum":this sound was created when there was a big bang.
Now I´m going to answer a question that you ask to do:
What is Brahaman and what are the paths to form part of him?
Brahaman is the creator of all the universe. It´s a spirit that forms the universe and it´s in all the objects and living things :the stones, the persons, the animals, the plants... for this reason hinduism says that everithing is one, everithing is this spirit. And from born to death the hindues work to connect whit him from yoga and meditation and to get the Moksha, the highest goal of hinduism thar consist in form part of the Brahama, but you have to become perfect
That´s it!

Hello, I just saw all the videos on Hinduism and I think their customs are very interesting as yoga, daily rituals, etc.. I think it would be great to go to one of their festivals like Spring and also practice yoga as they do, but I'm no good. Video of gandhi is most impressed me because it talks about what he likes about this religion and also points out the complexity and richness of a culture like hindú.It That says the Hindu society is divided into social diferent groups. I think that this religion is great and we could learn from good things.

I had seen all the videos and the most that I had liked was the M. Gandhi video and Ravi Shankar video (his music). I can tell that the hinduism is a religion much old and with many followers in the world. Is one of the religions that I call atention for his pure beliefs. The most famous hindu music man is Ravi Shankar, who tought George Harrison to play the sitar (one of The Beatles who was his friend) and he died recently. Fimally, I liked very much the Aum sound that is very original.

Your videos are fantastic I like more than the Islam videos.
For me the great video is the Gandhi's video because he tells us how is organised the society in the Hinduism and many things more about it. The second video that I like more is the video of the Om because it is a very important symbol in the Hinduism culture and we should know it and what does it mean. Also the music video is very relaxing and the instruments are very interesting.
Thank you for all and good bye.

Good night, J. Antonio. I have watched the three videos and, definitely, I think Hinduism deserves a lot of respect because it is, in my opinion, the most humane charitable and true religion, and they don´t judge people by their appearence, religion or race; and I think it is the most fundamental principle of a religion. Also, I must say the video that I most like is the third, which teaches us to don´t judge people by their appearence.

Hello Juan Antonio,

I like the first video thet you put on the blog. It is amazing the form of we saw to the poor people in Spain and how do hindi people saw to that incredible people, that they only want to conect with Brahman. I think that this culture is very beautiful. I like itss festivals and the ideas that hindi people have abour the reencarnation, the Karma and the diferent forms of gods and dodnesses. All is interesting in this culture: the form that they pray, the fom that they offers objets and food to their gods... I also think that meditation is a very amazing form to become part of Brahman. To concentrate, to think in nothing, only in their inside peace. It is wonderful, don´t you think , Juan Antonio?

Well, I am finishing, the last thing I want to say is that I hopee you enjoy my comentary and that is all.

I've seen all the videos and are very interesting and I learned a little about Hinduism. With the most I've learned is the first: "THE QUEST FOR GOD" because understands very well especially the part where they talk about Brahman. The second I found it difficult to understand but I could understand some words, the third video is better understood than the second and I have learned that in Hinduism are valued attitudes. the other three last videos I found very interesting.
the question that I have chosen is:
What is Brahaman and what are the paths to form part of Him? Brahman it's a spirit,is the creator of the universe and the paths to form part of him are:

Hi to evreyone,
To begin with I wuold like to start speaking about the first video, the Ganges one. When I went to India I remember when I travelled to Varanasi (old name Venarest) where the Ganges river is located. It's true that they pray and do worships there, but they also swim, wash their bodies and, even, they throw the death bodies burnt, so when you travelled along the river you can see many crematory made up of trees trunks-8 sometimes when the family doesn't have many economic resources, they throw the whole body , and it is not very pleased to watch it).
To continue with I would like to comment about the interview. It's great not to be exclusivist and thats what Hinduism not is, exactly inexclusivist. Also I am agree of respect everyone and saying "namaste" thats a way to connect with someone but more fairly and honestly. In addition to I must say that I think Hinduism is the most respectful religion, but there, in India, Hinduist have more differences with Islamics and sometimes they do not tolerate each one people and I do not exactly know why.
To end with, I would say that the music and somethings like coulors are like treasures, and that's because they represents themselfs with that ( coulors there have differents meanings and are relationated with gods).
The five prayers are fine, but I think that an important thing there is praying with more people, and when they join together in a worship to pray to reach the Brahama, they singing as same as praying. Hello Juan Antonio.
I have already seen all videos you puted o your blog. Now I know more things about hinduism. Before saw your videos and hear you in class talking about this difertent and incredible religion, I did not know anything about hinduism.
Now I am going to talk about the videos. All videos help me to undertand better the hinduism religion, traditions, thinkins, music... I think the best video is in which some diferent himduism mens talk about the Ganges river, India. The second that I like the most is which a cartoon of Gandi explain us a lot of hinduism traditions, like the diferent patty or festivals, Gandi`s favourite festival is the Holy festival, that is celebrated in India, exacly, next to the Ganges river, he speak about the different castes that the hinduism culture is divided, I think this castesdivision are very old and they need to change these divisions as before as posible, because they live like in the old ages, but we are in the contemporanean ages.
I think this culture is wonderful and it have a lot of great things and all cultures have to catch them, but it have some others tradition that they have to change.

I have seen all the videos and the truth is that I understood each other very well since they were using English that we can understand. With the videos I could have seen the whole summarized unit of the hinduism since he was speaking about the music, which is very different from ours because for example theyvplay sited dow and without shoes; the video of the word aum in the one that makes clear to you that it means the word; also I have discovered that the hinduisms have five prayers for every occasion. In the video in that a conversation was listened I could have learned that the hinduisms respect very much between them and that when they go to a house take the shoes of themselves. Good and now comes the anwer that you told us :I am going to anwer to the first video: Brahaman was the person who created the universe ,about The Ganges river's says that the hinduists go there to pray with his mother and ask him to live well and in the near life also .They practice four rites, in one of them they practice yoga in others they use fire or practice their rituals in temples or in the street.

Hello Juan Antonio,
I saw all the videos and I like them but I don´t understand the beliefs of the adherents of Hinduism.
I'm going to answer one of the questions you told us to do: What is Brahaman and what are the paths to form part of Him? I think that Brahaman is the god who created the universe.I think that the paths to form part of him are doing yoga and other thinks related with meditation.

Hello Juan Antonio :D
I think that the videos are so interesting because I like that the hinduism people are all time meditation, and I like the culture too because they wear clothes so stranges and the cultures are beautiful.
